HLTAID011

This first aid course teaches the skills and knowledge to recognise emergencies and provide immediate and effective first aid treatment to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury.

This course includes Provide Cardiopulmonary (CPR) HLTAID009 and Provide Basic Life Support HLTAID010.

The course is in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and other Australian national peak clinical bodies and you will learn how to:13

  • Identify illness or injury
  • Perform CPR
  • ... And many more!
  • Immobilisation for envenomation
  • Bandaging and splinting
