For the majority of the courses, there are physical standards required in order to achieve competency when undertaking accredited training. For example, for all nationally recognised first aid courses, to competently perform CPR, the student must be able to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted effective CPR on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor. The Australian government requirements are clearly written in the Training Package and there are no exceptions. Students unable to satisfy the physical requirements won’t be deemed competent and can be issued with a statement of attainment even if this qualification is required by their employment or educational institution.
But, don’t despair! Our trainers are experienced and can suggest modifications to assist you to help you achieve competency.
If you enrolled into a online blended course, you will need to have completed your online pre-course work in order to get your certificate. Makes sure you watch every video to the end, including the very last one!
If you attended a practical session with other people, all who have attended need to submit all required questions/paperwork from that session. Without this, the session can’t be finalised and therefore, certificates can’t be issued. If this happens, your trainer will endeavour to ensure that everyone has done all the necessary components asap.
Once all the required components are completed and the necessary paperwork in submitted to Allens Training Pty Ltd, you will received your certificate via email.
Unfortunately, no. Our nationally recognised first aid courses are delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909) and 100% online first aid courses are not available.
