Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel

This unit involves the skill and knowledge required to perform a rescue from a live low voltage (LV) electrical apparatus in an electricity supply industry (ESI) environment. This does not include overhead lines and underground cables.
Due to the high-risk nature of the industry, the program is regarded as a mandatory requirement for specific industries in which employees are required to develop or maintain their professional skills. The individualf will learn how to:
- Inspect live LV panel rescue equipment
- How rescue equipment applies to WHS/OHS standards
- The live LV panel rescue procedure
Work Safely in the Vicinity of Live Electrical Apparatus as a Non-Electrical Worker

This course covers the responsibilities required to do work near powerlines or electrical apparatus in working safely as a non-electrical worker. It will provide the individual with the skills and knowledge to stay safe and understand compliance requirements for safe approach distances for the worker, plant, tools and equipment.
Due to the high-risk nature of the industry, the program is regarded as a mandatory requirement for specific industries in which employees are required to develop or maintain their professional skills. The individual will learn:
- Safe approach distances for worker, plant, tools and equipment.
- Skills and knowledge to identify and mitigate hazards in the work environment
